Learn 2D Gamedev From Zero with Godot 4 is a course by GDQuest, and this is its free welcome lesson. GDQuest describes the course as a remake of its earlier Learn To Code From Zero With Godot 3, rebuilt with a new learning platform and an improved curriculum, and currently in early access.
The opening lesson explains that you will learn to read and write code. The course outline then works through getting to know Godot, learning GDScript and a run of small projects, including top-down movement, a tower defense game and a side scroller.
