Unity's official plugin for coding agents adds Antigravity
Unity's plugin for third-party agents brings 32 Unity skills to Claude Code, Codex and Grok, and now ships an Antigravity manifest. It needs Unity 6 or later and is in beta.

Unity Technologies publishes an official plugin for third-party coding agents on GitHub, in the unity-agent-plugin repository. It describes itself as "Unity's official plugin for coding agents, with curated skills for game development, monetization, and performance optimization." Unity's documentation lists Claude Code, Codex and Grok as supported agents, and on 19 October the repository merged a manifest that lets Antigravity install it from the repo too.
The plugin is a set of skills, not an editor package. Unity notes that it isn't an Asset Store plugin and can't be installed through the Package Manager. The repository currently holds 32 skills, covering UI Toolkit and uGUI, 2D tilemaps and sprite atlases, URP post-processing, localization, multiplayer services, Vivox voice chat, LevelPlay ads and In-App Purchasing. You can ask in plain language or call a skill by name.
It needs Unity 6.0 or later, is versioned 0.1.8-beta and uses the Unity Companion License. Unity's tips include naming the UI framework in UI requests and asking the agent to read a skill's reference files when a result looks wrong.
Epic Games already offers a counterpart for Unreal Engine: a Claude Code plugin that drives Unreal Editor over MCP, also listed on GameDex.
Why it matters: These skills give agents Unity's own guidance for everyday jobs, from tile palettes to in-app purchases. Skills can change your project directly, so keep it under version control before you try them.
