Fab adds bundles and UEFN source assets
You can now buy whole sets of Fab products in one go, with every item added to your library. Fab also now licenses editable UEFN source assets, such as NPC behaviours, vehicles and UI, that open straight in UEFN.

Epic's Fab marketplace added two new ways to buy content on 15 October: bundles, and source assets for Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
Bundles group several Fab products into one purchase. Instead of adding items to your cart one by one, you buy the set and every product in it goes into your Fab library. Epic announced the change on the Fab news page and in the Unreal Engine forums.
UEFN source assets are a new product type. Fab describes them as complete, editable systems, such as AI and NPC behaviours, vehicles, weapons, UI and environments, many of them built with Verse and Scene Graph. Unlike reference files, they open directly in UEFN and can be built on straight away. They can be browsed on the Fab website or from the Fab integration inside UEFN, and Epic has started the range with a free kit of its own.
Why it matters: for Fortnite creators, source assets could save the time spent rebuilding common gameplay systems from scratch. For sellers, it is a new format to package work for the UEFN audience. For everyone buying assets for Unreal projects, bundles are a simpler way to pick up related packs together. As always on a marketplace, check each product's licence and listing details before you build it into a commercial project.
